Ojomu Royal Family Youth Wing slams Faceless Group’s 72-Hour Ultimatum To Lagos CJ, names Fakorede, Akinloye, Olagbade As Alleged Masterminds

The Youth Wing of the Ojomu Royal Family has strongly condemned the 72-hour ultimatum issued to the Lagos Chief Judge by a faceless group, describing the move as baseless and provocative.

In a statement released on Saturday, the group alleged that the individuals behind the anonymous threat have been identified as Basir Fakorede, Jide Akinloye, and Benson Olagbade, urging authorities to investigate their roles and bring those responsible to justice.

Rejoinder: The So-Called "Concerned Youth Movement" And Its 72-Hour Ultimatum To The Lagos State Chief Justice

The attention of the Youth Wing of the Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, has been drawn to a reckless and unfounded publication by a faceless group styling itself as the “Concerned Youth Movement,” purporting to issue a 72-hour ultimatum to the Chief Judge of Lagos State.

Ordinarily, such a puerile and intellectually hollow publication would not merit any response. However, the deliberate distortions, calculated falsehoods, and sustained attempt to mislead the public compel this rejoinder.

For the avoidance of doubt, the so-called “Concerned Youth Movement” is nothing but a phantom platform, a contrived vehicle deployed by known actors, including Bashir Fakorede, Jide Akinloye, and Benson Olagbade, among others, to further their long-standing agenda of intimidation, harassment, and misinformation.

At the core of this orchestrated campaign is a pattern of conduct marked by greed, oppression, and an alarming disregard for truth.

These individuals, acting in concert with Oba Tijani Akinloye and Alhaji Yekini Bakare, have for years presided over the systematic exploitation of Ajiranland to the detriment of its rightful beneficiaries.

Despite the vast land resources associated with the family, its people continue to suffer deprivation and marginalization under the very individuals entrusted with their welfare.

Their recent actions expose a deeper desperation. In a bid to weaponize state institutions, there was an evident abuse of office by Moshood Olorundare Jimoh, the immediate past Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, now elevated to Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2.

His conduct in the matter was not only questionable but demonstrably partisan.

In a most troubling development, the services of N. W. Watson who had been suspended since 2023 by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee were procured to obtain an ex-parte order in Suit No. MISC/60A/2026 on 16th February 2026 for the arrest and remand of Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi.

The application was fundamentally defective, riddled with falsehoods, and initiated by a person without legal standing to appear before any court of law in Nigeria at the material time.

Predictably, upon rigorous legal challenge by counsel to Hammed, the order was set aside on the 23rd March, 2026 by the same Magistrate who granted it thereby affirming the sanctity of due process and exposing the illegality underpinning the entire exercise.

Unable to sustain their unlawful enterprise, these actors have now resorted to a campaign of calumny against the judiciary, making baseless allegations against Magistrate Owolabi and dragging the name of Magistrate Alogba who had no connection whatsoever to the matter into their web of deceit.

This is a dangerous and deliberate attempt to intimidate and bully the judiciary into submission.

We however all know that the Lagos State Judiciary is an institution of integrity that will not succumb to blackmail, coercion, or orchestrated media attacks. Such tactics have never succeeded in the past and will not succeed now.

The narrative being peddled about influence, inducement, or fictitious patronage is as laughable as it is baseless.

The suggestion that Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi could procure influence through extravagant gifts is not only false but betrays the desperation of its authors.

Those making such allegations are themselves deeply entrenched in the very system of influence they now hypocritically decry.

As for the spurious criminal allegations being circulated in a bid to malign emerging voices within the Ajiran community, we reiterate our unwavering confidence in the rule of law.

While the public awaits the advice of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, we remain resolute, calm, and assured that truth and justice will ultimately prevail.

The younger generation of the Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran is now fully awakened to the decades of oppression, exploitation, and mismanagement of their common patrimony. No amount of propaganda, intimidation, or institutional manipulation can reverse this consciousness.

This rejoinder serves as a clear warning: the era of impunity is over. Those who have held Ajiran land and its people hostage will be held accountable lawfully, peacefully, and decisively.

Signed:

Youth Wing,

Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran

Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos State

Court Sets Aside Arrest, Remand, Wanted Declaration Against Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi

A Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, has set aside its earlier ex-parte order authorizing the arrest, remand, and “wanted” declaration of Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi, also known as Hammed Ajiran. The development follows the earlier declaration of Akanbi as wanted for alleged multiple murder by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Olorundare Jimoh, on February 19, 2026. However, in a ruling delivered today, Magistrate L.A. Owolabi of Magistrate Court 3 nullified the ex-parte order initially granted on February 16, 2026. In his decision, Magistrate Owolabi held that the order was obtained through the concealment of material facts. The court specifically noted that the counsel who filed and argued the application, Nosa Watson Uhumwangho, was under suspension by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee at the time and therefore lacked the right of audience before the court. The ruling sparked jubilation among members of the youth wing of the Ojomu royal family, who...

Mr. Victor, a welder from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, experienced a harrowing incident on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, while at work in Ota, Ogun State.
