LAHA '23 Aspirants Forum Congratulates Tinubu, Shettima, Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat On Electoral Victory




The Forum of Lagos State House of Assembly Aspirants, 2023 across the 20 Local Government Areas in the state under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, on their victory in the 2023 general elections of which they have now been sworn-in.


The congratulatory message was contained in an advertorial sponsored by the forum and which was made available to the media.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, has set aside its earlier ex-parte order authorizing the arrest, remand, and “wanted” declaration of Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi, also known as Hammed Ajiran. The development follows the earlier declaration of Akanbi as wanted for alleged multiple murder by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Olorundare Jimoh, on February 19, 2026. However, in a ruling delivered today, Magistrate L.A. Owolabi of Magistrate Court 3 nullified the ex-parte order initially granted on February 16, 2026.
