Obadara Set The Ball Rolling For Tinubu

It is no doubt that the activities of South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 otherwise called SWAGA23 has continued to gain momentum, and one person who is hell bent and ready to contribute maximally to this realization is Senator Gbenga Obadaara.

Recall that the SWAGA23 is a group of South West APC members who desire the best for the country. It is a group currently being championed by Senator Dayo Adeyeye.

In view if this, SWAGA23 in her quest to continue the drive in ensuring that the Asiwaju of Lagos and the Jagaban of Adamawa himself, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes the president of Nigeria and sustain the legacy of the current administration, SWAGA23 is set to  begin a grassroot  awareness program and sensitization in Ogun State, over the plan to embrace the candidature of Asiwaju Tinubu as president come 2023.

The South West agenda which is a group geared towards having the best and most credible personality to sustain Sai Baba2023,  believes the Jagaban of Adamawa is the most credible person to occupy the position.

It would be recalled that SWAGA23 had earlier in the year been launched in all the South western state of the country, and the table is set, to begin the massive aggressive and voracious grassroot mobilisation for  Asiwaju.

However, report says SWAGA has over 12 million followers, who in turn have indicated their doggedness towards supporting Jagaban come 2023 and with this, the Ogun State branch of SWAGA says she finally begin her grassroot mobilisation towards this agenda..

In a  joint statement signed by the coordinators of the group in the state, Senator Gbenga Obadara and Hon Abiodun Akinlade, the two chieftains of APC in Ogun stressed that  all plans have been concluded to begin the mobilization in full force .

According to the statement, the official launching of the door to door sensitization  begins today,Tuesday 14th December 2023, with Ogun Central Senatorial District  taking the lead.
The event according to them will be  at  Adeleye Park, One Sokori, Totoro, Abeokuta by 10a.m.

Meanwhile on Wednesday the 15th day of December all road leads to Ogun East Senatorial District where SWAGA23 will be speaking about Asiwaju and his leadership prowess. The venue is Ijebu Ode Local Government Secretariat, open field, Ijebu Ode by 10a.m.

Furthermore, on the 16th of December, it would be the turn of Ogun West Senatorial District at Empire Open Field, Ilaro by 10 in the morning.

Obadara in one of his reaction, said the major players in the APC will be there in Ogun State, South West and Nigeria in general. He added that the  need to support a credible candidate in person of Asiwaju Tinubu is inevitable. He maintained that the Jagaban of Adamawa is a political father who has mentored a couple of persons in Nigeria.

He added that this is a payback for Asiwaju who remain a passionate and philanthropical person, who desires the best for not just the Yoruba people but Nigerians in general.

Senator Obadaara therefore said the need to champion the course is inevitable for him and others compatriots emphasizing that Asiwaju is an indispensable man hence the need for him to be the next president of Nigeria.

He however said SWAGA within her power in South West will continue to work hard in making sure that the dream of having Asiwaju become president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023 is realized.

Court Sets Aside Arrest, Remand, Wanted Declaration Against Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi

A Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, has set aside its earlier ex-parte order authorizing the arrest, remand, and “wanted” declaration of Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi, also known as Hammed Ajiran. The development follows the earlier declaration of Akanbi as wanted for alleged multiple murder by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Olorundare Jimoh, on February 19, 2026. However, in a ruling delivered today, Magistrate L.A. Owolabi of Magistrate Court 3 nullified the ex-parte order initially granted on February 16, 2026. In his decision, Magistrate Owolabi held that the order was obtained through the concealment of material facts. The court specifically noted that the counsel who filed and argued the application, Nosa Watson Uhumwangho, was under suspension by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee at the time and therefore lacked the right of audience before the court. The ruling sparked jubilation among members of the youth wing of the Ojomu royal family, who...
