Osun Deputy Governor's Wife, Titilayo Alabi Arrested, Detained In Lagos For Fraud!

Wife of the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Mr Benedict Gboyega Alabi, Titilayo has been arrested in Lagos over multiple fraud charges.

Titilayo was said to have been arrested earlier this morning Thursday 19th December, 2019 and currently cooling her buttocks with the authorities at the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Ikoyi Lagos..

The fraud allegation is said to be related to about three million seven hundred thousand naira (N3,700,000) cost of furniture supplied to her apartment, which Mrs Titilayo Alabi claimed to be the guest house of her husband, the Deputy Governor of Osun State.

The apartment is allegedly located in the higher brow area of Opebi in Ikeja, Lagos.

However, we learnt owners of the furniture and Interior decor company which located on Allen Avenue Ikeja, had tried all their bes possible to make the number two woman in Osun State pay her debt, but the woman had ignored all entreaties and plea for payment for the supplies made around September 2019. Mrs Alabi had reportedly told owners of the company that she would pay at her convenience, and that nobody could touch her as the wife of a deputy governor..

Sources revealed that the law enforcement agent had been on the trail of the woman for sometime now until she was eventually arrested on Thursday.

Titilayo has been married to Gboyega for about nine years and she has been very active in his political development.

Her husband, Benedict Olugboyega Alabi is the Group President/CEO of Eliezer Workplace Management Limited.

He has interest in other areas like agriculture and manufacturing.

He has served on the Technical Committee of Federal Government of Nigeria on Development of Green Building Initiative for Nigeria as well as Committee on Establishment of Building Rating System.

Both Initiatives of Federal Government of Nigeria are directed towards taming building collapse in Nigeria.

As a humanist and a man with love of the people in his heart, Olugboyega established Osun Ajose Foundation to support indigenes in Osun State.

This is an empowerment foundation established with a view to eradicating poverty in the state.

These must have earned him his current position as the Deputy Governor of Osun State.

As at the time of filling this report, we understand that the Osun deputy governor has been pressing necessary buttons, and making contacts to get his wife out of the police net.

  1. This is crazy, why don't you verify facts before publishing. How can someone be trailing deputy governor's wife for that long without him knowing.

  2. This posting has absolutely nothing to do with His Excellency Mr. Gboyega Alabi. For the record Mr. Alabi had early in the year warned the general public against women purporting themselves to be his wife and pledging his credit. The furniture woman better find a way of collecting her money from whoever bought things from her and stop dragging the gentleman into her plight. I'm close to Mr. Alabi and can tell you authoritatively, the woman that associated with him in the past with similar name (Titi) is Mrs. Titilola Fajemisin and they have long parted their ways. She never bear Mrs. Alabi, they were just partners.

Court Sets Aside Arrest, Remand, Wanted Declaration Against Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi

A Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, has set aside its earlier ex-parte order authorizing the arrest, remand, and “wanted” declaration of Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi, also known as Hammed Ajiran. The development follows the earlier declaration of Akanbi as wanted for alleged multiple murder by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Olorundare Jimoh, on February 19, 2026. However, in a ruling delivered today, Magistrate L.A. Owolabi of Magistrate Court 3 nullified the ex-parte order initially granted on February 16, 2026. In his decision, Magistrate Owolabi held that the order was obtained through the concealment of material facts. The court specifically noted that the counsel who filed and argued the application, Nosa Watson Uhumwangho, was under suspension by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee at the time and therefore lacked the right of audience before the court. The ruling sparked jubilation among members of the youth wing of the Ojomu royal family, who...
