Dada Aigbe Remanded In Prison Custody For Contempt

The Chairman of Confidence Cargo, Freight Forwarder, Mr Dada Aigbe  has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison for disobeying court order and for interfering in a land matter over which he is not a party. The land matter is between HRM, Oba Shakirudeen Adeshina Kuti, the Complainants and Osolo of Isolo, HRM, Oba Agbabiaka Kabiru Orisedeko Kuti and the Baale of Mafoluku, Ajao Estate; Chief Hussam Raheem Shekoni Elemo, the Defendants and is before Justice M.A Savage of a Lagos High Court, Lands Division. The fact of the case as contained in the petition is that the complainant’s ancestral family land along Airport Road, Ewu Town, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos was invaded by Oludada Aigbe  and his thugs.  The case, investigated by FCID SWAT Annex, Lagos before it was transferred to FCID SWAT, Abuja through an endorsed petition letter dated October 27, 2023 for further investigation. Latest On Breach of Contract: Davido Settles Out Of Court With Amaju Pinnick, to Pay N30m ..Set to perform at ‘Warri Again 2024’ concert on October 4

American singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has agreed to settle the breach of contract suit filed against him at the High Court of Delta State Effurun by the Amaju Pinnick-led Brownhill Investment Company Limited out of court. As part of the consent judgement entered in a N2 billion suit filed against him, Davido also agreed to within seven days of execution of the terms of settlement, pay the sum of N30,000,000 to the claimant, being a part contribution to the claimant's outstanding legal fees in this suit. As part of the out-of-court settlement, the defendant agreed to perform live at the 'Warri Again 2024 Concert’ slated for October 4, 2024 in Warri, Delta State. Court Declares Lagos Socialite Wanted Over Willful Demolition Of N800m Building

A Lagos High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square has issued a bench warrant declaring wanted a Lagos socialite, Sikiru Nollah, for conspiracy and illegal demolition of a building worth N800 million. The property belonged to a Lagos developer, Hakeem Olawuyi. Justice Sherifat Sonaike, issued the bench warrant after Nollah severally refused to appear in court since he was served with the information. Sonaike ordered that the defendant be arrested anywhere he is found. The Lagos State Government headed by Dr. Babajide Martins, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), had brought a charge to the court that the defendant and others at large committed the offences sometime in April 2023, at No. 20A, Church St., Lagos Island. DPP, in that charge, said that the defendant unlawfully damaged the property of one Kumefo Olaribigbe. According to him, the property was managed by one Mr Hakeem Olawuyi. As the people of Ondo State count down to the November Gubernatorial election and preceded by the party primaries scheduled for the month of April, the academic records of the Incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has again been called to questions. Anti-Corruption Crusaders Fault Social Media Campaign Against NIMASA DG ...Says malpractice in whistleblowing, becoming a threat to a just society

A coalition of civil society groups has called for an immediate end to sponsored social media campaigns against Dr Bashir Jamoh, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency. Under the umbrella, National Coalition of Anti-Corruption Crusaders (NCACC), the groups lamented that Jamoh is being targeted for his honesty, transparency and accountability.  According to a communique co-signed by Dr Abimbola Tolu, Chinonso Emmanuel, Rasheed Kazeem and Okewu John, the coalition said the aim is to dent the well-aimed integrity and reputation of the NIMASA boss.  The groups said this is not only unacceptable but wicked and gratuitous hence must be condemned by all well-meaning Nigerians. Hotelier Drags NDLEA To Human Rights Commission Over Invasion, Destruction Of Property

  The National Human Rights Commission  has been petitioned by a Lagos-based hotelier, Mr Ayobami Moses Idowu over allegation of unlawful invasion, destruction of his property and alleged theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Idowu's petition was written by his counsel, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, a legal firm based in Ibeju Lekki area Lagos State, and it was titled; "unlawful invasion of the residence and place of business of Mr Ayobami Moses Idowu, by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) led by ACN Adekunle Oduola  in violation of our client's constitutional rights."
